What Makes a Pair?
27th Mar 2026
Fifi the Fairy was up to her usual tricks in Primary Two when she visited the class and left socks scattered all around our classroom! The girls worked together to sort the socks and hang them on the washing line in matching pairs. This fun activity helped the children explore the concept of odd and even numbers. When a sock had a matching partner, it was even and the girls could sort them in sets of two, however, if a sock did not have a matching partner, it was odd. Take a look at their great sorting skills - well done girls!
