Transfer Club

The preparations continue for this year’s SEAG tests.
During our after schools club we kept our focus on classic literature, using an extract from ‘A Little Princess’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

The pupils discussed the author’s use of language, looking specifically how the word was used in the context of the whole sentence.  The pupils are further developing their logical inference and judgment skills. A final task was finely tuning the skills required for SEAGs freeform responses.
