The Power of Words

Our Grow in Love lesson enabled the girls to explore and discuss how words have the power to hurt as well as to heal.

With this sentiment in mind, the girls explored a number verses from the Old Testament’s Book of Proverbs. In addition, the girls were provided with scripture references from the New Testament and identified how God speaks to us through the Bible.

One of our favourite verses came from the Gospel according to Luke (6:13):

“Do for others just what you want them to do for you.”
