Primary Seven Music Makers

Primary Seven are delighted to be working with Mrs McCoy from the School of Music. Each week Mrs McCoy will teach the girls a number of songs and chants and will support them in their abilities’ to enhance these songs with tuned and untuned percussion instruments. Furthermore, the girls have been studying “The Carnival of Animals” written by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Using this wonderful piece of music, the girls have been tasked to write and perform a group interpretation of one part of this humorous, musical masterpiece.
