P1 Investigate Seeds

As part of our topic on food, the girls have been investigating seeds in fruit. We have observed and examined many fruits looking at the colour and texture and where the seeds are. We found big seeds in mango and avocado, very tiny seeds in the banana. Most fruits had their seeds inside but the seeds in the strawberry were outside the fruit. The girls enjoyed cutting and scooping but most of all the tasting!
