National Poetry Day

To celebrate National Poetry Day, Primary Six spent their Literacy time looking at the poem “I Opened a Book” by Julia Donaldson. They explored the theme of refuge and how a book can be a refuge for us all. The girls then wrote their own Lune poem about reading.
