Maths Fun in Primary One

The Primary One girls have been sorting in different ways and developing their mathematical language when explaining how they sorted. They have been learning about repeating patterns and have focused on AB pattern making using a variety of resources. In number, the girls have been counting and making sets within 3, recognising the numerals and learning to write them. During Maths Week Ireland they put their mathematical skills to use as they played a range of maths games.
