Leaders in the Making - Visit to Stormont

Four representatives from Primary Six went to Parliament Buildings, Stormont yesterday as part of the Healthy Cities Project. They took part in round table discussions with politicians and academics, who were so excited to listen to their ideas and opinions.
One important point that Dr Yakup Gozderesi made was that children are not just "our future" that are their own present and deserve to have their rights protected as such.
Our girls had created a charter of rights that they feel every child should be entitled to and they were able to present their ideas to the people who can make that a reality. They spoke with such confidence and conviction and are definitely our leaders of the future.
