Izac 9 in Primary 5

Primary 5 have been using Izak 9 maths materials to help with problem solving.

Izak 9 involves pupils working in groups with a set of 27 specially designed cubes. The cubes use numbers, colours and shapes to help pupils further develop their problem solving skills. Pupils use the "Plan, Do, Review, Make Sense" process to come up with their answers. The tasks allow the pupils to discuss and share their ideas about how to solve the wall.

In today's task Primary 5 had to find the multiple of 3 on the cubes and build a wall which displayed these in order. They then had to work together to answer questions based on the numbers they found. Look at how we got on.
