International Women's Day

Happy International Women’s Day! 🥳💪🏻
To celebrate, our P5 girls have researched inspirational women in history and worked in our self confidence by celebrating our own skills and achievements. We even spent our World Around Us Lesson exploring the importance of women in STEM! The girls learnt about the first woman in space, Valentina Tereshkova, as well as the African American NASA pioneers Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson and Katherine Johnson.
