Feis Bhéal Feirste

Na cailíní did us proud on Saturday at the annual Feis Bhéal Feirste. Schools from across Belfast competed to perform a poem in Irish or complete a conversation. We were awarded 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal!
One of our Primary Four girls won the overall best poem, with her amazing recount of the poem "Teidí Beag Álainn."
On the day we were reminded how important it is to use our cúpla focal when we can. For many of our girls this will be their first step on their journey with Irish; Tús maith leath na hoibre!

We are already looking forward to next year!
