A Day of Engineering

Primary 6 and Primary 7 were introduced to the world of engineering today by Peter from SENTINUS and Howard, Rose, Olivia and Brenda from Spirit AeroSystems. The girls worked incredibly hard all day. They spent the morning creating aerofoils, wind turbines and helicopters, before creating rockets this afternoon. They had great fun testing out of their creations, even braving the cold and snow this afternoon to see their rockets take flight. A huge thank you to our visitors for showing us how much fun engineering can be and giving us an insight into the world of aeroplane manufacturing.
