STEMstruct Project

Our Primary Six girls had a wonderful workshop, learning all about the construction industry, with Jimmy from Sentinus and Construction Futures NI.  This is part of the STEMstruct Project, in which the girls will design their own town of the future. Today they had an insight into some of the skills they will need to use when planning and building their new town of the future. Thank to Breige from MRP Investment and Development who joined us as well. 

This project will allow Primary Six to link classroom learning to all areas of the World Around Us, including History, Geography, Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The girls are really looking forward to getting starting and becoming architects, engineers and builders. Who knows some may even find their future career.
