Mindfulness - Week 2

The girls were excited to find out that training our brain is just like training a puppy.we need to be patient, kind and firm. We practiced some more mindfulness as well - including Mindfulness Mouthfuls. In this activity we were all given a skittle, before we put it in our mouths we took the time to look at it, feel it and smell it. When we finally put it in our mouths we savoured it and really enjoyed the intense taste. Normally we eat so fast that we don’t even notice the taste of foods. A great activity that we can try at home. We look forward to learning more about our brain and practicing our new mindfulness activities with Noeleen next week.
