International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day Primary 6 talked about stereotypes and how certain jobs are often associated with certain genders. The girls then looked at an inspiring female, Malala Yousafzai. They found out about her life and how she advocates for education for all, especially girls. The class were shocked to find out that there are people in the world who think girls shouldn’t be educated, and that they even attack schools and girls for this reason. We know that our girls will grow up understanding the value of equality for all.
