Arts & Craft Club

4th Oct 2018

At craft club the girls are learning about art from Central and South America. This week the girls learnt about the artwork of Frida Kahlo, her work is based largely on self-portraits. Kahlo’s work is very vibrant, this was because of her love for her Mexican heritage and often featured paintings of animals too! In tribute to Kahlo’s work the girls used modelling clay to make their own clay monkeys. They are really looking forward to painting their monkeys next week!
